Bolster Confidence With Beachbody

ShakeologWhen many people take a look in the mirror, they don’t feel confident or happy with the size and shape of their bodies. Carl Daikeler is on a mission to change that. Over the years, he has worked in production for the NFL’s halftime events and in the infomercial media production industry. His time in those two areas of expertise allowed him to make many observations. He noted that people have an interest in fitness and recognize its importance. He also noticed the growing portion of people who are overweight or obese. Knowing he could make a difference in the lives of all people who want to get fit, lose weight and be stronger, he and his co-founder launched Beachbody.

The Beachbody exercise system started in 1998 with 12 videos. The DVDs could be purchased by anyone and used at home for convenient exercise options. People loved the workouts, and they asked Carl Daikeler to make more of them. He did, and each year, more than 20 new videos were added to the fitness program. Daikeler is always one to live up to his word, and he stars in many of the workout videos. The addition of the Beachbody on Demand service in 2015 and OpenFit, an app that a person can use to join live workouts and offer inspiration with others, created a huge fitness community online. These offerings soared in use in 2020, when people couldn’t go to the gym or attend in-person weight loss meetings.

Shakeology is the nutritional aspect of the Beachbody total health plan. Carl Daikeler and his co-founder, Darin Olien, launched the program in 2009. The Shakeology nutrition system is centered around protein and fiber. The protein and fiber powder can be mixed into any type of animal or plant milk, which creates a thick, rich shake. The shake makes a person feel full for a longer period of time than a typical snack or fast food meal. Shakeology’s shakes also contain important vitamins that are missing in a lot of Americans’ diets. Shakeology comes in sampler packs and larger, value-sized packages for customers.
