His business focuses are in the areas of aerospace, IT, media, and automotive industries. He is the owner of one of Malaysia’s largest privately held companies.

Sudhir Choudhrie’s philanthropic work has resulted in him being awarded a ‘Philanthropist Award’ by the leading magazine Condé Nast Traveller India. His love for art influenced his decision to acquire a majority shareholding in the prestigious auction house Sotheby’s India Ltd. Sudhir Choudhrie educational pursuits include being a member of the Aesthetic Education Society (AES) in London and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Protection of Children’s Books (FSPCB). He has also been appointed to two advisory boards for King’s College London- School of Cancer, UCL-School for Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and King’s College London-School for Tropical Medicine & International Health, both in England. He is also an executive board member in several other educational institutions, such as Oxford University, Polytechnic of Wales, St John’s College Cambridge and City University London and more
